What Claude Code does well
Claude Code is close to Anthropic’s models, works naturally in the terminal and supports managed deployment through Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud. Its cost guidance and model controls are explicit.

Claude Code is purpose-built for people who want the agent in the shell with little visual ceremony. Miton is a full desktop application and carries more interface by design.

Miton treats multiple hosted providers and local endpoints as eligible components of one routing system. Claude Code can use several deployment platforms, but its agent remains centred on Claude models.
